Jack's Toy-Fueled Time Trip

Jack, a boy of ten, unearthed a dusty box from the attic. Inside lay his childhood toys: Captain Calico, a one-eyed pirate plush; Zoomer, a beat-up toy car; and Barnaby, a wooden block set. As he built a tower with Barnaby, a strange energy crackled around him. The room spun, colors blurred, and a dizzying sensation washed over Jack. When the world righted itself, he was standing in his old, brightly colored nursery. But something was different. His mother fussed over him, offering cookies and juice. His older sister, usually aloof, read him stories with exaggerated voices. Even the gruff Mr. Henderson next door brought him flowers, beaming. He soon realized he was reliving his toddler years, but amplified. Everyone, from his family to strangers, treated him with overwhelming affection and care. Food magically appeared when he was hungry, toys materialized when he was bored. It was a paradise of pure pampering, a bizarre, toy-powered time trip where responsibility ceased to exist. The question was, would Jack, a boy on the cusp of independence, enjoy being perpetually taken care of?
